On March 3, 2015, staff conducted a Triple Bottom Line Evaluation with City Council members for the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Project. During the study session, Council members provided feedback on how well the following four project components met the economic, social and environmental objectives of the Program Charter:

  • Potentially adding an RV Dump Station as part of the upgrade

  • Odor control measures to integrate into the Project

  • Interpretive Center and Public Elements

  • Maximizing recycled water production at the WRRF

Armed with electronic voting devices, the Council members provided guidance on how staff should address each of these components in the final Facilities Plan.  The City staff will incorporate the guidance received from Council into the Final Facilities Plan.
