New Emergency Generator will Ensure Uninterrupted Power at the WRRF

On March 15th, the SLO WRRF accepted delivery of its new emergency generator, which will ensure uninterrupted power for the new facility in the event of a PG&E outage. This system will make sure effluent discharge to the San Luis Obispo Creek and reclaimed for recycled water is consistently treated to the highest standards. The generator installation will include advanced air treatment equipment that will meet or exceed all applicable air quality regulations.
