The Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) provides an essential service to our community—treating 3.3 million gallons of wastewater and producing 200 thousand gallons of recycled water per day, 365 days per year. We are also committed to the health and safety of staff and our community. In response to the Governor’s stay-at-home order, the following modifications to daily operations have been made and will remain in effect until at least mid-May:
All public tours have been postponed
The onsite internship program has been postponed
Staff continue to accommodate normal business requests, employing virtual meeting technology where necessary. Unscheduled site visits are not permitted at this time. If you need to visit the WRRF, please call in advance to schedule an appointment. City and construction staff have been conducting daily health screenings, and request that you conform with the CDC’s social distancing and hygiene recommendations
Should you have any questions, or need to schedule an appointment to visit the WRRF, contact Chris Lehman at 805-781-7240 or clehman@slocity.org.
