WRRF Project Facilities Plan Approved

On July 7th, 2015, a major milestone was achieved when City Council approved the Final Facilities Plan for the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Project. The Facilities Plan was developed by HDR and Water Systems Consulting, with major contributions and involvement from City staff. The Facilities Plan is the jumping off point for the second phase of the project – preliminary design. A Request For Proposals (RFP) was approved during the same council meeting to authorize City staff to procure a design engineering consultant. We expect to receive proposals in late August and have a design consultant on board by the end of the year.
